Who We Are
Concert Experience
What is their concert like?
The children give an experience to their audiences of how Africans praise and worship God with their smiles and joyful African tunes, accompanied by local instrumentation. The program features children’s songs, hand clapping, traditional spirituals, and contemporary tunes.
Nearly every performance is concluded with a thunderous standing ovation. A marvelous by-product of the concert is the inspiration the music brings to virtually every listener. In spite of the tragedy that has marred their young lives, the children are radiant with hope, musically gifted and wonderfully entertaining.

Who is an Amani Children’s Choir?
Our tours have 4 major goals: a) Share the love of God through music, dance testimonies of what God has done in our lives. We always encourage Churches to welcome people that need to be saved or encouraged in their walk with Christ Jesus in our concerts/worship concerts. b) The Choir raises awareness of the need of destitute and orphaned children in Africa. c) Raise funds for continued development and support of Light Africa programs. d) The Choir’s international educational endeavor provides unique training for the children. Once Choir members have completed a concert tour, they will return to their homelands with the tools necessary for bettering their future.
Who is an Amani Children’s Choir?
“Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and song…Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the Lord our Maker; for he is our God and we are the people of his pasture, the flock under his care. Today, if only you would hear his voice,” Psalm 95:1-7 NIV
